Last year I and my boyfriend went to Kenya, the Jewel of East Africa. It was an amazing place with wonderful landscapes, emerald water, coral reefs, snow capped mountains and above all wonderful people. We had a great time doing wide range of activities like safaris, bird watching, mountaineering, climbing, cycling and many more. There are more than 40 national parks in Kenya and we visited most of them. Doing safaris in these parks was really a unique experience. We had been to this place during January, most preferred time as you get the chance of viewing various rare birds during this time.
One of the best time of our trip was the visit to Mount Kenya, the most famous and impressive landscapes of Kenya. It is the highest mountain in Kenya and also the second highest in Africa. We had a great time trekking on this mountain region. We even enjoyed going to rain forests where we get to see antelope, elephants, monkeys and various other animals. Another must to see place in kenya was Hell’s gate national park, located near Lake Naivasha. It is an ideal place for cycling, climbing and hiking. We get to see wide ranges of wildlife including cheetah, hyena, buffalo and much more. We got to watch various varieties of birds in this park.
